Updated pics of Lake Whatcom Cabin
Here are some pics as of today of the Lake Whatcom cabin. All windows have been set. All subs are done with rough-ins. With all rough-in inspections complete the home is ready for the first phase of insulation starting tomorrow. Because we will be beginning insulation tomorrow the house is as clean as possible with all stud bays in the walls being vacuumed before insulation. The sprayed in poly will provide a tremendous amount of seal to the homes envelope which is very important in energy efficiency. This tight building envelope combined with the the radiant heat will provide enhanced comfort and efficiency to the home owner, all while saving money and resources. Next week this home will receive sheetrock and potentially the beginning of some finishes. I will try and post some more next week of the site work including the slab insulation and radiant tubing and hopefully by the end of next week the actual slab ready for framing of the lower level.
